HR Assistant Manager

Join MHG, a fast-growing healthcare group, as our HR Assistant Manager and take the lead in managing end-to-end HR operations across our Singapore and Kuala Lumpur offices. You will play a pivotal role in shaping HR strategies, ensuring compliance, and driving employee engagement.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee full spectrum of HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance reviews, and offboarding
• Process monthly payroll for both Singapore and Malaysia teams, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Handle income tax submissions including IR8A, IR21 (tax clearance) in Singapore, and PCB/EA forms in Malaysia
• Partner with department heads to align HR practices with business goals
• Mentor and coach the HR team to ensure operational excellence and professional growth
• Manage employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture
• Oversee training and development plans for workforce capability building
• Maintain employee records, HR systems, and ensure up-to-date documentation
• Administer staff benefits, leave management, training grants, and development programmes
• Align HR practices with local labour laws in both Singapore and Malaysia
• Support cross-border manpower planning, budgeting, and organisational development
• Drive HR projects, policy reviews, digitalisation, and audits
• Serve as a strategic HR partner to department heads

What You’ll Bring:

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
• 3–5 years of HR experience, including experience with payroll and tax for both SG & MY
• Strong knowledge of MOM regulations, IRAS/CPF, and Malaysia’s SOCSO, EPF, LHDN
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with JustLogin HR/payroll system is highly preferred
• Meticulous, independent, and able to handle confidential matters with integrity
