Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Handle the full spectrum of HR functions.
  • Develop, coordinate, and administer recruitment processes.
  • Assist in offboarding processes for resigning staff, including preparing letters and exit clearances.
  • Manage payroll processing and reports, including reconciling overtime.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Handle employee compensation and benefits matters.
  • Update the HR system regularly.
  • Coordinate and administer training and development programs.
  • Communicate with employees on HR matters and organize staff events.
  • Monitor and update records on workers' annual leave, medical leave, and expenses.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on policy reviews and updates.
  • Support the performance appraisal process for immediate superior.
  • Manage work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and related tasks for foreign workers.
  • Handle matters related to general workers, such as dormitory arrangements, updating residential addresses via MOM OFWAS system, CSOC, Coretrade, levy waivers, medical checks for new hires, and monthly renewals.
  • Conduct and complete market surveys from MOM, IRAS, CPF, WDA, and other HR-related surveys.
  • Submit government claims via NS portal, Profamily leave, etc.
  • Renew insurance and assist with claims submission if needed.
  • Negotiate outsourcing services such as hospital insurance coverage plans.
  • Handle auditors' inquiries.
  • Monitor and update CSOC courses for workers; enroll workers in courses.
  • Manage and arrange insurance bonds for new workers.
  • Perform HR administrative tasks.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the HOD.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or higher in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the construction industry.
