Job summary

A leading company in marine and engineering is seeking a Human Resources professional to handle various HR responsibilities, including payroll, employee records management, and coordination of medical arrangements. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to employee welfare and engagement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage office sundry purchases and payroll administration.
  • Coordinate medical arrangements for foreign employees and assist with contract renewals.
  • Ensure accurate employee records and perform HR data entry.

Job description

  • Posting of recruitment advertisements
  • Engagement with both internal and external stakeholders such as employees and vendors, etc
  • Manage office sundry purchases
  • Payroll administration
  • Assists in employment contract renewals
  • Coordinate medical arrangement for foreign employees (medical check-ups for work pass, and vaccination)
  • Ensure complete, up-to-date, accurate and accessible records are kept for all employees.
  • Assists in the co-ordination of social and recreational activities to promote the general welfare of all employees
  • Performs HR data entry relating to employee's information, training records, etc.
  • Manage and route phone calls appropriately
  • Assists in work pass applications and other immigration related work.
  • Prepare and submit government bodies and statutory board related surveys.
