Job summary

A leading company in the electronics industry is seeking an experienced HR professional to develop and implement HR policies, oversee HR operations, and ensure compliance with local employment laws. This role requires 3+ years of HR experience, expertise in finance management, and strong communication skills, playing a key role in enhancing employee engagement and maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

Job description

  • Key Job Responsibilities:

    • HR Policy & Strategy: Develop, review, and implement HR policies aligned with organizational growth, talent acquisition and retention, and workforce management strategies.

    • HR Operations Oversight: Lead end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, payroll processing, compensation and benefits administration, and employee relations management.

    • HR Systems & Records Management: Maintain SAP-HR and employee records, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection regulations.

    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local employment laws and regulations; act as the main liaison for HR-related government surveys, audits, and funding applications.

    • Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee issues such as disciplinary cases, grievances, absenteeism, and workplace conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

    • HR Analytics & Reporting: Prepare HR reports and analytics, including budget forecasts, compensation reviews, and workforce metrics to support strategic planning.

    • Office Administration: Oversee general office administration tasks such as procurement of office supplies, insurance renewals.

    • Employee Engagement & Events: Plan and coordinate staff engagement activities, events, and team-building initiatives to foster a positive work culture.

    • Ad-hoc Duties: Support management with various administrative and operational tasks as required.

  • Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a Electronic industry, with significant exposure to finance management.

    • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, HR best practices, and finance regulations related to HR functions.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with employees at all levels and manage financial stakeholders.

    • Proficient in HR and financial information systems and data analysis.

    • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

    • Relevant HR and finance certifications or qualifications would be an advantage.
