Job summary

KLA in Singapore seeks a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and maintain Windows OS images and deployment solutions for our platforms. You will drive automation using PowerShell, diagnostics, and system management tools to improve deployment reliability.

Collaborating with hardware, software, manufacturing, and system integration teams, you will validate solutions, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to engineering best practices and mentoring. This role is based in Singapore.

LS (Laser Scanning) systems enable cost-effective patterned wafer defect detection for the industry’s most sophisticated process technologies deployed in leading-edge foundry, logic, DRAM, and NAND fabs. LS-SWIFT operates from a global footprint that includes the US, Singapore, India and Germany, and serves a worldwide customer base across Asia, Europe and North America.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain customized Windows OS images and deployment solutions for KLA platforms.Develop and support PowerShell-based automation, diagnostics, and system management tools to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.Drive validation, testing, and root cause analysis activities to ensure robust, maintainable, and supportable solutions.Collaborate with hardware, software, manufacturing, and system integration teams to resolve complex system-level issues and improve product readiness.Author technical documentation, participate in architecture and design reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices and mentoring.Qualifications:Strong understanding of computer architecture, hardware subsystems, operating systems, networking, and system-level performance characteristics.Proficiency in PowerShell and at least one additional scripting or programming language such as Python or Bash.Experience with Windows OS deployment, customization, troubleshooting, automation, and hardware/software integration.Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex technical problems, communicate effectively across teams, and drive projects from design through deployment.Minimum QualificationsDoctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 yearsWe offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package.
