Job summary

PTC System (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a proactive Network Administrator to manage the HPC fabric and data centre switching infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance and security across the environment.

You will collaborate with system, storage and security teams, participate in 24x7 on-call rotations, and maintain runbooks, aligning with ITIL practices to support seamless HPC operations.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of network support experience in HPC or enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with data centre switching, SDN, firewalls and VPN administration.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF and BGP networking.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain tenant HPC fabric and data centre switching infrastructure.
• Perform network configuration backups and capacity/utilization reporting.
• Troubleshoot Layer 2/3 connectivity, routing and switching faults.
• Support SDN, firewalls and VPN solutions.
• Collaborate with system, storage and security teams for optimal HPC performance.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for P1/P2 incident escalation.
• Maintain detailed network docs, runbooks and change records per ITIL.
