Job summary

NTU Singapore’s Parallel Systems Lab in the CCDS invites applications for a Research Assistant/Associate. The role focuses on designing and evaluating scalable HPC-AI systems, with workload analysis and prototyping on national platforms.

Collaboration with faculty and domain scientists drives impactful AI research. Applicants should have a CS degree and strong C/C++/Python skills, plus experience in parallel computing and AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of agentic AI/AI workflows, parallel computing, algorithms, and system performance analysis.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
• Experience with parallel systems, ML/AI, or benchmarking is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and characterize multi-agent AI and HPC workloads to identify performance and scalability challenges.
• Design, implement, and prototype efficient systems for large-scale AI/HPC workflows.
• Conduct benchmarking and experimental evaluation on local and national supercomputing platforms.
• Contribute to research papers, reports, and presentations for reviews and conferences.
