Job summary

KLA is seeking an System Design Engineering Manager specializing in AI Systems and HPC in Singapore. You will lead a team to design, deploy, and optimize AI infrastructure for DL training and inference, aligning technical roadmaps with business goals within HPC environments.

Responsibilities include steering GPU clusters, benchmarking, and collaborating with product managers, researchers, and leadership, while mentoring engineers and delivering high-impact AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering teams in AI/HPC.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and HPC tools.
• Strong GPU architecture knowledge and CUDA programming.
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud AI deployments.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for DL training and inference platform.
• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for DL/AI systems in HPC.
• Design and optimize AI infrastructure with hardware/software teams.
• Oversee GPU-based clusters and scalability.
• Drive performance tuning and benchmarking on HPC clusters.
• Collaborate with PMs, researchers, stakeholders and report to leadership.
