Job summary

KELLE SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a diligent Housekeeping Supervisor to support daily operations and staff coordination across all facilities.

You will liaise with the Manager on a daily basis, ensure cleaning quality standards and policies are applied, oversee room inspections, stock management, safety practices, and the smooth running of operations while coordinating external contractors. This role requires a proactive approach and a commitment to guest service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Manager on a daily basis regarding current tasks and assist in planning.
• Ensure housekeeping quality standards are applied and Policies & Procedures are consistently followed.
• Oversee an inspection program for VIP or vacant clean/inspected rooms.
• Oversee cleaning schedule and maintenance program for the rooms and public areas.
• Ensure all assigned duties are carried out and resources are efficiently utilized.
• Act as a communication conduit between management and staff.
• Responsible for the smooth running of daily operations.
• Maintain and control use of stock, equipment and consumables.
• Actively promote Health and Safety and report any breach to the Manager.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are met and maintained in all facilities and report to Manager.
• Manage external contractors relating to Housekeeping and ensure policy adherence.
• Manage operating expenses to minimize cost whilst providing excellent guest service.
• Compile standard operating procedures for all areas of responsibility and update periodically.
• Timeously request purchase of consumables, equipment and materials.
• Monitor and report absenteeism to the Manager.
• Prepare daily duty rosters for approval by the Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
