The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including: making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removal of trash etc.
Job Descriptions:
- Maintain a clean, tidy and fresh appearance during work.
- Observe guest floor and room in order to perform safety procedures if there’s occurrence
- Establish proper procedure and standard on the important of master keys.
- Keys and worksheets must be surrendered before leaving the Hotel.
- Trolley must be in good condition, orderly and clean.
- Establish proper guidelines on greeting and conversation to guest
- Establish proper procedure and standard for room cleaning.
- Establish proper standard and procedure for baby cot or extra bed making.
- Establish proper procedures and guidelines of keeping storeroom or pantry clean and tidy.
- Establish proper procedure and standard for reporting of missing guest room item.
- Packing and counting of soiled linens and towels after respective shift is over.
- Makes hotel rooms and common areas look pleasant, creating harmonious arrangements
- Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
- Any ad-hoc task as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Preferably with experience in relevant sector
- Meticulous and attentive to details
- Good physical health and stamina
- An applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays is ideal.
