Job summary

Ling Kwang Home For Senior Citizens in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper to keep our residents safe and comfortable. You will clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways and common areas, disinfect high-touch surfaces and handle waste following safety rules.

You will also change bed linens, replenish supplies, follow infection control standards, and report maintenance hazards. This 6-day-a-week role requires prior cleaning experience and knowledge of safe work procedures;

Qualifications

• 6-day work week.
• Prior cleaning work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces (bed rails, doorknobs, light switches, etc.)
• Change bed linens and make beds
• Dispose of waste, including medical or hazardous waste, following safety protocols
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Follow infection control and hygiene standards
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Work respectfully around elderly residents, often while rooms are occupied
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
