Job description

Join us as a Housekeeping Attendant in Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong & Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong.

You’ll have ambition, talent and key skills. For this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can:

• Report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms to superior
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required
• Liaise with Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Supervisor regarding chemical usage, problems or rectification suggestions
• Ensure guest services specified by superiors and guests requests are promptly and courteously met
• Deliver guest requests on time to meet hotel standards
• Carry out valet services including linen delivery or laundry processing
• Count linens delivered from vendors to ensure all are in order
• Deliver amenities from store to pantry and to guests according to brand standards
• Replenish guest supplies
• Wash bed linens
• Maintain a section room report and daily room checklist
• Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, linen rooms, and cupboards according to standards
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and repair
• Know special hotel programs and events to assist guests effectively
• Provide hotel information and escort guests within the hotel upon request
• Work in line with business needs and brand standards
• Adhere to grooming and hygiene standards
• Respond effectively to emergencies
• Complete tasks assigned by management or supervisors
• Report lost and found items and guest complaints immediately

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Primary education or equivalent, some housekeeping experience preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, and ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
