Job description

Highlights:

  • Location: Conveniently located near Dhoby Ghaut MRT
  • Salary: Up to $2,600
  • Working Hours: 3 rotating shifts (8 hours/day, 6 days/week)

Our client, a well-established hotel near Dhoby Ghaut MRT, is seeking a dedicated Front Office Executive to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the reception counter.

The Challenges:

  • Deliver courteous and efficient service, ensuring guest requests are handled promptly and professionally
  • Build rapport with guests and resolve complaints effectively to maintain excellent service standards
  • Manage room assignments and blockings for arriving guests, with special attention to VIPs and group bookings
  • Prepare materials for VIP arrivals, such as registration cards, welcome folders, fruit baskets, cakes, room keys, etc.
  • Coordinate with the Duty Manager, Reservations, and Sales teams on VIP bookings
  • Respond to guest requests to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay
  • Handle guest complaints with professionalism and seek solutions promptly
  • Process all reservations and cancellations efficiently
  • Stay informed of room rates and special promotions to provide accurate information
  • Report any maintenance or cleanliness issues to the relevant department
  • Follow fire safety procedures and assist with evacuation when necessary
  • Guide and support junior staff through on-the-job training
  • Monitor held mails, faxes, and items for collection to ensure timely delivery to guests

What it Takes:

  • Prior experience in front desk operations
  • Knowledge of the OPERA system is an added advantage
