Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller in Singapore to lead the Finance Department, oversee accounting, payroll, AP/AR, and IT, and ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance while partnering with the General Manager and department heads to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years in finance/accounting, hospitality preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, payroll, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance Department including Accounting, Payroll, AP/AR, Purchasing, and IT.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and monthly P&L reports.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor revenues, expenses, inventory, payroll, and cash while maintaining internal controls.
• Drive financial planning and forecasting within company standards.
• Collaborate with GM and department heads to improve financial performance.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, insurers, suppliers, authorities, and corporate offices.
• Supervise invoice payments and cost management, especially F&B costs.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting systems for management decisions.
