Responsibilities:
- Manage all events and rooms sales inquiries from receipt to contracting and payment.
- Liaise with in-house departments for smooth execution and conversion of group business, maintain ownership of group blocks, including pickup numbers, reservation methods, billing, and VIP treatment.
- Manage site inspections, organize visits, room allocations, and coordinate all departments to showcase the hotel effectively, providing accurate visitor information.
- Identify and develop new potential accounts, prospecting at least two new accounts per week.
- Develop sales plans to generate business from identified markets and accounts.
- Determine corporate account needs and initiate sales activities for future bookings.
- Manage and grow corporate accounts by tracking individual transient, group, and catering goals.
- Gather market intelligence on new products, competition, customer trends, and performance.
- Ensure prompt follow-up on inquiries, maintain booking accuracy, and adhere to departmental standards in documentation and execution.
- Perform other duties as assigned by owners, adapting to changing business needs.
- Manage platforms like DayAway, TagVenue, and others as required.
- Create partnerships with other platforms for event benefits.
- Create event orders, contracts, and update the event tracker monthly with revenue and target details.
- For groups over 20 pax dining at the restaurants, welcome guests and ensure a memorable experience.
- Organize hotel Dropbox folders with all necessary event materials.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to create event packages and promotions for business continuity.
