Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Performs general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, etc. at the hotel’s public areas (including common corridors at the back of house, restaurants, gym, pool area, offices, staff toilets, and service areas).
  2. Ensures rubbish/paper waste is collected from the assigned area of work (e.g., offices at back of house) and is disposed of in accordance with the standards set by the hotel.
  3. Ensures that the working equipment and tools assigned to perform duties are well maintained at all times.
  4. Reports maintenance issues, odd occurrences, and pest infestations to the Housekeeping Coordinator/Supervisor for follow-up.
  5. Undertakes other duties as and when assigned by the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper.

Education & Work Experience

  1. Primary education or equivalent.
  2. Prior hotel working experience preferred.
  3. Able to speak and understand basic English.
