Job description

Park Bäckerei has opened its doors at Icon Village in Tanjong Pagar, an artsy bakery cafe with a focus on German baked goods and covering dine in, retail/take-away, and catering settings. Our baked good range includes authentic hand-crafted pretzels, sweet laugenbuns, stuffed bagels and other mouth-watering baked goods, using only the highest quality ingredients. You will be working side by side with other passionate chefs, bakers and kitchen crews.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Preparation of hot dishes and ingredients, mis-en-place and prep

· Preparation of ingredients and assembly of our Sandwiches

· Keeping track of supplies, inventories and maintaining a clean and organized workspace

· Assist in managing suppliers and ordering inventory

· Plan and execute prep and assembly for Catering Orders

· Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations

· Maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency

· Work well together with the multi-disciplinary team of bakers, cooks and service personnel.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven F&B experience in a reputable food outlet

· Track record in food production for dine-in restaurants and catering settings

· Talent for appealing visual plating of breakfast and lunch dishes

· Experience managing and maintaining a FIFO inventory

• Curiosity to learn new things and flexibility to apply yourself where you are needed most

• Good communication in English. Malay or Mandarin proficiency are a plus

• Food Hygiene Certificate

• True team player that values team cohesion over personal benefit
