Job summary

Mondrian Singapore Duxton is seeking a Director of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership for the hotel and act as a key business partner to the General Manager and Leadership Team. You will oversee all finance functions, safeguard assets, drive profitability and ensure timely reporting, while maintaining strong controls and compliance with brand standards.

The role requires hospitality finance leadership, expertise in budgeting, forecasting and audit, and the ability to influence

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA/ACCA/CA qualification is advantageous.
• Significant finance leadership experience in hotel/hospitality.
• Strong understanding of hotel budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager and Leadership Team on financial performance and strategy.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Monitor revenue, payroll, operating expenses and GOP; identify profitability opportunities.
• Analyse monthly performance against budget with variance reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to stakeholders.
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, Income Audit, Credit, Cash management and payroll controls.
• Maintain cash flow management and timely fund deposits.
• Lead internal and external audits; coordinate with auditors and implement findings.
• Develop robust internal controls and financial policies.
• Support commercial decision making with financial insights.
