• Pay rate: $29/hr
• Requirement: Must be able to draw blood
• Duration: 1 Oct 2025 – 31 Dec 2025

Job Description

The staff nurse is responsible for coordinating total nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care to meet the needs of the patients, including educating patients and families on mental health issues. The staff nurse assists the nurse clinician in the management of the Specialist Outpatient Clinic (SOC) and is also responsible for maintaining the standards for professional nursing practice and working cooperatively with the other members of the healthcare team to provide care that is comprehensive, integrated and cost-effective.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess, triage walk-in patients, and identify vulnerable individuals and patients with high-risk conditions for prompt attention.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and attend to other medical orders according to hospital policy.
• Assist with admission procedures and carry out treatment as required.
• Report pertinent observations and reactions of SOC patients to clinicians and record them accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in nursing procedures such as venipuncture, Electrocardiogram (ECG), and oral/nasopharyngeal swabbing techniques during pandemics or when required.
• Provide health teaching to patients and their families as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in the management of patients.
• Participate in neurostimulation treatment for patients.
