Job summary

NTUC First Campus Co-operative Ltd invites applications for a KidSTART Practitioner (KSP). The role focuses on delivering child development strategies through home visits and close work with caregivers to improve parent-child interactions and developmental outcomes.

You will collaborate with community partners to ensure holistic support for low-income families, participate in team activities, and maintain timely documentation to meet programme goals.

Qualifications

• Requires relevant degree in social work, ECD, psychology, counselling or equivalent.
• Proven strong interpersonal and assessment abilities.
• Willingness to work occasional evening/weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular home visits to guide and support caregivers in parenting, child development and family well-being.
• Build trusting relationships with families to encourage participation and learning.
• Assess and monitor children’s development and family needs through screenings and case planning.
• Deliver KidSTART curriculum to enhance parent-child interaction and developmental outcomes.
• Collaborate with community agencies (preschool, FSCs, SSOs) for integrated family support.
• Share insights with preschool teachers and principals to address child and family needs.
• Coordinate with CSS colleagues and other professionals to ensure holistic support for KidSTART families.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and case discussions; ensure timely documentation and data submission.
