Job summary

A leading logistics company in Singapore is looking for a Home Appliances Repair & Servicing Technician. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing various home appliances, performing installations, and providing technical support. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience or be willing to learn as apprentices. A positive attitude and good customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in servicing home appliances or consumer electronic products preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of home appliances.

Home Appliances Repair & Servicing Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of home appliances (e.g. washing machines, refrigerators, dryers, ovens, dishwashers).
• Perform installation and servicing of appliances when required.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to improve appliance performance and lifespan.
• Communicate with clients to explain issues, solutions and provide post-job updates.
• Ensure proper care and safe-keeping of hand tools, spare parts and service equipment.
• Prepare detailed service reports for customer’s acknowledgement.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.
• Handle any ad-hoc projects and duties assigned by reporting manager and/or management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage.
• Minimum Nitec / NTC 2 or 3 in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electronic fields.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in servicing home appliances OR consumer electronic products preferred. I
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Candidates without experience are welcome to join as apprentices (training provided)
