Seeking a highly driven Sales Director to join their team in Singapore.
You will play a critical role in expanding their reach in mainland China by offering tailored wealth management & insurance solutions to China's most elite clientele.
This role is designed for an energetic & dynamic individual who excels in building strong relationships with private bankers & other partners & can leverage those connections to gain referrals for HNW clients in mainland China
You will be reporting to the CEO Singapore & the Managing Director Singapore.
This is a Permanent Full-time Individual Contributor role based in Singapore.
YOUR NEW JOB
- Private Banker Relationships: Establish and cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with private bankers at top financial institutions.
- Referral Generation: Secure referrals from private bankers to HNW individuals and families who would benefit from our insurance and financial services offerings.
- Client Relationship Management: Build rapport with HNW clients and manage relationships to provide a seamless experience from introduction through to solution delivery.
- Solution Offering: Assess the financial needs of HNW clients and deliver personalized insurance and wealth management solutions.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on the latest trends in the HNW market and financial services to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Work closely with internal teams to develop sales strategies, track performance, and meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Networking: Attend industry events, seminars, and networking functions to build and maintain a network of potential clients and referral sources.
- Targets: Consistently hitting & exceeding net revenue targets
- Compliance: Fulfill full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements & internal compliance policies
- Documentation: Submit all business documentation (especially for new business) timely & accurately
WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU
- 5 years in Banking or Insurance industry - doing sales / wealth planning / relationship management
- Ability to independently drive business development & manage a sales pipeline
- Demonstrated success in generating referrals and meeting sales targets.
- Proven experience selling within financial services or insurance industry, with HNW clients
- Track record managing multi-million dollar portfolios
- Strong knowledge of financial & insurance products tailored to HNW clients.
- Sophisticated communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent proficiency in Mandarin for effective communication & business correspondence with mainland China-based clients & partners
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT
- Current licensed Financial Adviser Representative able to advise on life policies & arrange contracts of life insurance & other Professional certifications (e.g. CFP)
- Established relationships with private bankers, wealth managers, & other financial professionals.
- Knowledge of the Singapore financial services market and HNW needs.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, estate planning, and wealth protection strategies.
- Proficiency in Cantonese for effective internal & external stakeholder communication
- Experience in the Private Banking Industry
