Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is hiring an experienced assembler to build, repair and test electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies using schematics, wiring diagrams and work orders. You will operate test fixtures, troubleshoot issues and ensure quality while maintaining safety standards.

The role involves shift work with AM/PM/Graveyard options; candidates with Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience would be advantageous.
• Relevant internship/academic background would be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies using schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Identify and correct errors in assemblies and processes.
• Observe safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Attend health and safety training and follow policies and practices.
• Report accidents, injuries or hazards promptly to supervisor or Safety dept.
• Use test fixtures, measurement equipment and leak detectors to test assemblies.
• Enter progress, costs and labor data into computer systems.
• Perform software installs or basic programming when needed.
• Detail finished work and receive parts for audits to ensure availability.
• Inspect parts for defects and drive process improvements.
