Job summary

UBS is seeking a Hedge Funds Specialist to drive distribution for Unified Global Alternatives within Wealth Management in Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. You will advise clients on hedge fund products and allocations, and work with client advisors to implement strategies tailored to their portfolios.

The role requires 8–10 years in financial services, strong presentation and client-facing skills, and knowledge of the global hedge fund industry.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in financial services focusing on hedge fund sales/advisory or client-facing product specialist roles.
• Proven presentation and client-facing skills.
• Good knowledge of the global hedge fund industry and portfolio-level hedge fund advice.

Responsibilities

• Focus on Hedge Funds distribution within Unified Global Alternatives for Wealth Management in Southeast Asia.
• Advise Wealth Management clients on hedge fund products and allocations.
• Engage with clients with client advisors to discuss and implement their hedge fund strategy.
• Provide after-sales service for hedge fund investments and prepare client reviews.
• Drive the hedge funds business and contribute ideas to product offering development.
• Collaborate with the Global Hedge Fund team to leverage full capabilities.

The team

You'll be working in the Unified Global Alternatives Hedge Funds Specialist Team in Singapore. We are a team of Hedge Fund Specialists that enjoy working to provide best in class solutions for our clients. We work closely with client advisors in the HNW and UHNW segment, taking responsibility for sales and after-sales of all Hedge Fund solutions.

Your Skills And Experience

• ideally 8-10 years of experience in the financial industry with focus on a Hedge Fund sales/advisory or in a client-facing product specialist role, typically in Wealth or Asset Management or with a Hedge Fund/Fund of Hedge Funds
• proven presentation and client-facing skills
• good knowledge of the Global Hedge Fund industry
• experience in advising clients on Hedge Funds in a portfolio context
• an advanced degree in the area of finance, CFA or CAIA are a definite plus
• fluent Mandarin skills highly preferred to flexibly cover client advisors and clients across the region
• you're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
