Job summary

Wecruit Pte Ltd is seeking a vehicular maintenance technician to inspect, diagnose, service and repair heavy vehicles such as lorries and trucks. You will perform preventive maintenance, identify faults and propose solutions while ensuring safety and quality standards in an outdoor/workshop setting.

The role requires a Class 3 licence and 1–2 years of relevant experience, with English literacy to follow instructions and communicate with team members.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 driving licence.
• Forklift licence/certification a plus where relevant.
• Basic proficiency in English to understand work instructions and communicate with personnel.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in automotive servicing, vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn new skills and procedures.
• Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks and complete work per requirements.
• Ability to identify maintenance issues and propose practical improvements.
• Comfortable working in outdoor or on-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, testing and diagnosis of heavy vehicles (lorrys, trucks, tankers).
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and servicing of vehicles.
• Carry out repair and maintenance work per regulatory requirements, specs and procedures.
• Identify vehicle faults and recommend repair or maintenance solutions.
• Ensure completed work meets safety, quality and operational standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe practices in workshop and areas.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and workshop practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements
