Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on heavy vehicle technician to inspect, diagnose and repair lorries, trucks and tankers in our Singapore operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory codes, and keep accurate service records. Basic English is required, with 1–2 years of relevant experience, and a Class 3 licence.

The role involves outdoor work at operational sites and offers opportunities for learning and progression.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 driving licence.
• Forklift licence/certification would be an advantage where applicable to the job.
• English proficiency sufficient to understand technical instructions and workplace documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, diagnosis and troubleshooting of heavy vehicles.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing and repair activities in accordance with approved maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose mechanical or vehicle-related issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Verify that repair and maintenance work complies with applicable regulatory codes, technical specifications, safety requirements and company procedures.
• Conduct post-repair checks and testing to ensure vehicles are suitable for operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance-related records where required.
• Maintain a high standard of workplace safety, cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Follow established workshop safety procedures and applicable operational requirements.
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues and vehicle defects promptly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance practices and workshop operations.
