Job summary

JDK Engineering & Construction PTE. LTD. is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to service, maintain, and repair tipper trucks and cement mixer trucks. The role requires hands-on technical skills and a proactive approach in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, tyre changes, greasing, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently in outdoor and workshop environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence (Class 4 preferred).
• Experience with tipper trucks and cement mixer trucks.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues independently.
• Physically fit for workshop and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair on tipper trucks and cement mixer trucks.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical issues to ensure roadworthiness.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Change and repair heavy vehicle tyres.
• Ensure safe and efficient repair work; keep workshop clean.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an experiencedHeavy Vehicle Mechanicto carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair works fortipper trucks and cement mixer trucks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing mechanical servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works on tipper trucks and cement mixer trucks.

• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical issues to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.

• Carrying out regular preventive maintenance and inspections.

• Changing and repairing tyres for heavy vehicles when required.

• Performing regular greasing and lubrication of vehicle components.

• Checking and maintaining vehicle systems and components to minimize breakdowns and downtime.

• Ensuring all repair and maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.

• Keeping the workshop and work areas clean and organized.

• Carrying out other mechanical and maintenance duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum2 years of relevant experienceas a heavy vehicle mechanic.

• Must have a validClass 3 driving licence.

• Candidates with a validClass 4 driving licence will be given priority.

• Good hands-on knowledge of mechanical works involvingtipper trucks and cement mixer trucks.

• Able to performheavy vehicle tyre changing.

• Able to performgreening and lubricationof heavy vehicles.

• Able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems independently.

• Physically fit and comfortable working in workshop and outdoor environment.

• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently.

• Good attitude towards safety and maintenance procedures.

Preferred Skills

Experience working specifically withtipper trucks, cement mixer trucks, or other heavy commercial vehicleswill be an advantage.
