Job summary

Allied Container Group in Singapore is seeking a Heavy Forklift Operator to support depot operations. You will position containers, manage storage areas, and assist with container shifts to keep workflow smooth and efficient.

Requirements include a heavy forklift driver license, 2+ years of container handling experience, good physical fitness, and the ability to work under pressure. Working hours are Mon-Fri 8:00am–5:00pm; Sat 8:00am–12:00nn, with transport from Jurong East MRT.

Qualifications

• Possess a heavy forklift driver license.
• Experience with forklift used for handling containers.
• Minimum 2 years of related working experience.
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Place empty and laden containers at appropriate locations and in safe position.
• Place containers at locations assigned by operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficient release.
• Allocate space for container storage to facilitate retrieval and release.
• Assist in shifting containers within the depot when required.
• Carry out daily checks on forklift.
