Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

· Key contact person for customers, ensuring smooth daily operations and the coordination of activities to meet service level standards

· Pursue continuous process improvement to meet the total service requirements for customers

· Establish long-terms business partnerships with the customers

· Secure new business opportunities while maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers

· Work closely with Business Development Managers in securing business

· Support business meetings

· Generate accurate quotations and closure for customers

· Investigate and resolve customers’ issues and complaints

· Proactive mentality in arranging and handling shipment requests

· Proactively inform customers of any service failure and relevant operational service changes timely and alternative actions taken

· Participate in promotional networking activities and trade shows/exhibition when required

· Answer all email and telephone enquiries

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree with minimum 2 years experience in customer service or key account desk environment

  • Basic knowledge of distribution and specialty logistics concepts

  • Good communication and telephone skills

  • Strong English (written and spoken) comprehension and communication is essential

  • Able to multi-task and a team player
