Our client is actively searching for a Healthcare Innovation Impact Analyst to join their team!

The responsibilities of this role are:

Design and Plan Evaluation:

  • Develop comprehensive research evaluation methods tailored to specific healthcare innovation projects, incorporating both quantitative metrics and environmental impact indicators such as resource utilisation, waste reduction, and energy efficiency. Skills in qualitative methods would be an added advantage.
  • Create logic models and theories of change to map out the expected impacts and outcomes of health innovations, including their contribution to sustainable healthcare practices and long-term environmental stewardship
  • Collaborate with clinical project teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with health and innovation goals and sustainability targets, as well as metrics for carbon emissions, resource conservation, and sustainable procurement practices

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Implement data collection systems and processes to gather relevant quantitative data on program performance and outcomes
  • Utilise statistical techniques and tools to analyse large healthcare datasets
  • Conduct comparative analyses to benchmark innovation outcomes against existing practices or standards
  • Use predictive modelling to forecast potential impacts of scaling successful innovations
  • Employ data visualisation tools to create clear, insightful representations of complex healthcare data

Knowledge Dissemination:

  • Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports that clearly communicate the impacts and outcomes of healthcare innovations
  • Develop executive summaries and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the writing of academic papers for publication in peer-reviewed healthcare and innovation journals
  • Prepare and deliver presentations at conferences and workshops to share insights and methodologies
  • Contribute to the office's knowledge base by documenting best practices in healthcare innovation evaluation

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

  • Master degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Environmental Science, or a related field, particularly with a focus on sustainable healthcare systems or environmental health metrics.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in epidemiology or biostatistics, preferably in healthcare, public health or innovation sectors, with demonstrated understanding of sustainable healthcare practices
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing evaluation methods, including experience measuring environmental impact and sustainability metrics in healthcare settings
  • Experience in analysing sustainability data, carbon footprint assessments, or environmental impact studies would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of green healthcare standards, sustainable development goals (SDGs), and environmental compliance requirements in healthcare settings is desirable
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS)
  • Strong skills in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with database management and SQL
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
  • Experience in writing reports and academic papers
