Job Description

• Responsible for attending to patients' needs in their activities of daily living
• Provide basic patient care procedures under the direction of trained nurses according to established protocols, and standards of patient care and practices

You will need to:

• Perform basic physiological monitoring for stable residents i.e. vital signs, pain assessment.
• Prepare nutritional supplement and perform oral and nasogastric feeding of the clients.
• Assist in the serving of pre-packed medications to clients.
• Assist in client's Activities of Daily Living for client safety and comfort (e.g. personal hygiene, ambulation with assistive devices, and elimination needs
• Apply and monitor pressure relieving devices, physical restraints under supervision.
• Assist to maintain skin integrity and perform simple wound dressing.
• Perform and report blood glucose monitoring and POCT back RN.
• Perform safe lifting and transfer of clients.
• Assist clients with implementation of care plan (e.g. escort clients, conduct social activities)
• Support nurses in medical emergency or crisis situations.

Qualifications

• PSLE Certification
• GCE O-Level
• 3-6 months Basic Nurse Aide Certificate from home country (Foreign Trained)
• PRC Nursing
• 0-2 years of experience
