Healthcare Assistant Manager/Manager (Gov Healthcare, good career progression) #HCL

Responsibilities:

· Lead and oversee the daily clinical operations across assigned departments or services to ensure smooth, efficient, and patient-centric delivery of care.

· Collaborate with clinical heads, nursing, and allied health teams to plan, coordinate, and implement operational workflows, manpower deployment, and resource planning.

· Support service development initiatives, clinical programmes, and patient care enhancements aligned with the hospital’s strategic objectives.

· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), patient experience metrics, and operational outcomes, and implement improvement initiatives where needed.

· Manage departmental budgets, oversee procurement, and ensure optimal use of financial and operational resources.

· Drive change management and transformation projects, including digitalisation and service innovation initiatives.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies, supporting clinical governance and quality improvement efforts.

· Prepare regular management reports, briefings, and updates for hospital leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related fiel

· At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in healthcare operations, with prior leadership or supervisory experience.

· Strong understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare service delivery models.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
