Healthcare Assistant

Job Summary:

To be responsible for the overall patient meal service and maintain good relationship with the patient.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To be responsible for the meal service for the patients including meal order taking, meal service and tray clearance.
2. To liaise with various departments such as dietetics and kitchen to ensure accurate patient meal service.
3. To follow the procedures related to control room pertaining to meal service.
4. To provide excellent customer service to the patients in the wards.
5. To ensure a good relation with the patients and make sure their concerns are taken care of.
6. To attend to all patients' complaints and feedback within a short period of time.
7. To achieve the standard set in the KPI for his/her department.
8. To attend trainings in relation to the job and train new joiners in whichever area that has been identified.
9. To carry out the orientation training for new staff in customer service as well as using the EMOS system.
10. To carry out all other administrative and operational related duties assigned by superior and the Management.

What we're looking for:

1. Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, residents, and the healthcare team.
3. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to care for and support others.
4. Attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols and procedures.
5. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
6. A relevant healthcare qualification or certification is preferred.
