Job summary

SingHealth's AI in Medicine Institute seeks an Assistant Director to design and oversee the GAIMx platform. You will architect scalable, secure cloud-based solutions, align AI with clinical outcomes, and drive interoperability across healthcare systems while upholding the highest security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT/Software architecture
• 5+ years in healthcare technology
• Proven expertise across software engineering, data architecture, cybersecurity, and interoperability
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with large language models and Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI, Hugging Face, Vertex AI)
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, or Meditech is advantageous
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, PDPA, ISO 27001 compliance
• Strong leadership and communication to explain AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of the GAIMx solution.
• Mentor engineering and data science teams in healthcare tech best practices.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data stewards and compliance teams.
• Evaluate vendors and run proof-of-concepts.
• Establish SOPs and solution specifications.
• Architect scalable, secure cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ensure interoperability using FHIR, HL7, openEHR standards.
• Implement Zero Trust security and IAM, encryption, monitoring.
• Guide microservices/API-driven architectures and data pipelines (Spark, Kafka, Databricks).
• Deploy Generative AI and LLMs in clinical workflows; ensure AI safety and bias mitigation.
