Job description

Zaamworks Health is an early-stage healthtech venture focused on clinical decision support and remote patient monitoring.

Role: AI Developer

The AI Developer leads development for a healthcare platform, focusing on developing and productizing two specific deep learning models in partnership with our tech lead. The primary product is a risk-stratification solution incorporating diagnostics data and images.

Scope includes:

1. Ideate and develop deep learning models based on annotated data from healthcare providers.
2. Originate novel models or leverage existing platforms like TensorFlow or open-source libraries from GitHub.
3. Productize models by working with the development team to build platforms that ingest data and generate outputs.
4. Ensure models are explainable with relevant documentation.
5. Partner with collaborators in both public and private organizations.

This role starts as a 3-month contract or part-time basis, with the possibility to convert to a rolling contract with a pay increment or be invited to join as a founding team member.

The core team consists of a healthcare industry product manager, a technical lead, and a bioscience scientist with experience in the UK and Japan. We look forward to connecting to understand how we may support your aspirations.

Requirements:

1. Past experience in deep learning model development as an individual contributor.
2. Preferably experience with both text/numerical and image data.
3. Relevant training or education.
