  • Salary Range: $3,500 - $5000 + $200 (Site Allowance)

Responsibilities:

The Production Engineer (HSE) is responsible for Daily Operations and Projects Safety, leading the review, improvement, and compliance to all Safety regulations and requirements. Manage the Operations Risk Assessment and ensure occupational Safety.

Lead daily operations as an HSE Production Engineer to ensure safety in both daily operations and construction projects at the site.

• Lead HSE aspects of operation in risk assessment, Hazop study for new modification projects, changes to operating procedures, and site construction activities.

• Review and list high-risk activities in the process operation based on Hazop study, hold regular meetings with the production manager, and plan to improve safety levels in such areas of operation.

• Coordinate closely with day production & logistics members for HSE aspects of process operation and ensure safe work procedures are followed.

• Study and review all safety observation feedback and prioritize based on the level of risk to follow up through the MOC process. Ensure improvement items are tracked with records and timelines.

• Work with project engineers, production members, and maintenance coordinators to ensure safety-related projects are followed and implemented in a timely manner.

• Review emergency and disaster prevention procedures to ensure they remain relevant to current operations and are up to date.

• Lead and enhance any other HSE-related improvement projects/activities.

• Perform any other duties or assignments as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

• Working experience in the chemical industry

• Deep knowledge of Safety legislation and regulations in the chemical industry

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, health, safety, or environmental field of study
