Health Care Assistant (Inpatient) (Full-Time)

You will assist the nursing staff with basic patient care activities. These include attending to, lifting, transferring, and re-positioning patients, as well as cleaning and despatching duties. You will be required to perform shift work.

Requirements:

1. At least a primary school education. Applicants with a WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) will have an advantage.
2. A good team player.
3. Documented proof of:

i. Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and

ii. Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during the preceding 10 years at the prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment.
