Job Description:
Our client is a leading healthcare institution committed to delivering high-quality patient care through medical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. They are currently seeking a Head of Training to lead the development and implementation of strategic training programs for both clinical and non-clinical staff. The Head of Training will be responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating comprehensive training and development programs that enhance the capabilities of healthcare professionals and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a hospital-wide training strategy covering clinical, administrative, and soft skills development.
- Partner with department heads and medical leaders to identify training needs and design targeted learning solutions.
- Implement mandatory clinical training, compliance courses, and continuing education programs for medical staff.
- Lead initiatives around leadership development, succession planning, and employee upskilling.
- Oversee orientation and onboarding programs for new hires across departments.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the hospital.
- Ensure all training programs are compliant with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain accurate training records and support audits by healthcare authorities or accreditation bodies.
- Manage a team of training officers, facilitators, and administrative support staff.
- Evaluate and partner with external training vendors, universities, or medical training bodies when needed.
- Establish KPIs and evaluation frameworks to assess training effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
- Gather feedback and continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
- Utilize e-learning platforms, simulation training, and blended learning approaches to enhance accessibility and engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 10+ years of experience in training and development, with at least 5 years in a healthcare or hospital environment.
- Strong understanding of clinical operations, healthcare regulations, and training compliance standards.
- Proven ability to design and implement strategic learning programs.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Proficient in LMS (Learning Management Systems) and digital training tools.
