Job summary

UOB Asset Management Ltd. seeks a Head of Technology Engineering to lead end-to-end development of digital capabilities for the asset management business across Asia. The role requires driving scalable, secure and high-performance platforms aligned with regulatory needs.

You will work with the CIO to develop technology initiatives, guide cross-team collaboration, and modernize legacy systems while exploring AI agents and real-time data integrations to support investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in end-to-end financial software development.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee architecture, design and development of UOBAM digital platforms.
• Collaborate with regional business teams to translate requirements into engineering solutions.
• Improve system performance, UX and operational workflows.
• Explore AI/ML, Generative AI and big data tools to enhance decisions.
• Lead modernization of legacy systems and cloud-native transitions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across APAC offices.
