Head of Sustainability (Marine Fuels)

Singapore-based | Regional + global scope

This is a unique leadership role with two core remits:

Sustainability & ESG – You’ll lead the global sustainability strategy, oversee implementation across regional offices, improve ESG ratings (think EcoVadis), and ensure alignment with IMO and global regulatory shifts. You’ll also be the internal champion for ESG initiatives and external voice driving impact in the communities the business operates in.

Marine Fuels & Procurement – On the fuel side, you’ll develop fuel strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and lead the transition to lower-emission alternatives. You’ll need to think commercially and operationally – balancing cost, compliance, and carbon reduction across a dynamic global fleet.
You’ll also be:

• Leading two established departments with the opportunity to unlock synergies between them
• Shaping the group’s decarbonisation roadmap and influencing future fleet decisions
• Working closely with senior stakeholders and regulators locally and internationally

You should bring:

• Proven relevant experience in sustainability, fuels/maritime operations, regulatory affairs, or consultancy
• Proven leadership across cross-functional teams, ideally in a complex, global setting
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen with the ability to connect the dots between ESG, operations, and bottom-line impact
• Passion for decarbonisation and a genuine desire to make a difference in the maritime industry
