Job summary

The School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) at NTU invites applications for Head, Strategy. You will guide strategic planning, governance, and operational excellence, reporting to the School Chair.

You will shape resource allocation and performance metrics to advance academic, research, and outreach priorities. Ideal candidate has 10–12 years in strategy/operations with leadership, a postgraduate qualification, and a track record of cross-functional impact in higher education or public

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
10–12 years in strategic planning, administration or operations with 8+ years in a leadership role.
Experience leading organisation-wide strategic initiatives, change management and cross-functional projects.
Strong governance, budgeting and performance management understanding.
Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
Experience in higher education or public sector environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead development, implementation and review of strategic and operational plans.
Partner with leadership to drive strategic initiatives and organisational transformation.
Oversee administrative, financial, governance and operational functions for efficient service delivery.
Develop and monitor organisational performance indicators; provide data-driven insights.
Lead budgeting, resource planning and financial stewardship to optimise resources.
Strengthen governance frameworks, risk management and policy compliance.
