About the Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a commercially astute and well-connected individual to lead the expansion of strategic partnerships across the financial ecosystem. This role is focused on scaling adoption of our payment infrastructure by establishing strong collaborations with commercial banks, payment providers, and remittance operators.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of partnership strategies to onboard new financial institutions and payment operators

  • Lead end-to-end engagement from partner identification, due diligence, and negotiation to successful onboarding

  • Manage commercial terms including pricing and rebates to ensure sustainable revenue growth and cost efficiency

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders at partner organizations

  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory shifts to inform and adapt partnership strategies

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support partner integration and ensure alignment with technical and compliance requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales within the payments, fintech, or banking sector

  • Demonstrated track record in building partnerships with financial institutions, PSPs, or remittance companies

  • In-depth understanding of cross-border payments and remittance ecosystems

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience handling complex commercial agreements

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a proactive and results-driven mindset

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, target-driven environments

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field; MBA is a plus
