Users get personalized and exclusive rewards on purchases on their credit or debit cards as well on Abounds. The app has quietly been live in the US market for a year and has been incubated at Times Internet. Times Club focuses on the traditionally underserved South Asian diaspora. The service provides personalized rewards on relevant and best-of-breed diaspora businesses such as Indian grocery stores, OTT streaming apps and money remittance services among others. Users of its neobank will get additional benefits from the Times ecosystem (e.g. free Cricket and Bollywood streaming subscriptions) as well as seamless 1-click money remittances between the US and India.Abound is unique in that we cant think of any other media conglomerate globally that has made such an ambitious attempt using fintech to combine media, advertising, and commerce business models. On success, this will have a transformative impact on how media companies serve their audiences and compete with tech companies. Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Define and execute high-impact partnership strategies that expand market reach and enhance product offerings. Build and manage strategic relationships with BaaS platforms, issuing banks, and card networks (e.g., Galileo, Cross River Bank, Visa, Mastercard) to strengthen financial services offerings.2. Business Operations & Execution Partner with engineering, product, legal, and marketing teams to drive the development and management of the companys credit card and remittance programs. Oversee business operations, identifying process inefficiencies and scaling opportunities in collaboration with finance, data, and growth teams. Lead end-to-end execution of key initiatives related to expansion, new verticals, and process improvements.3. Global Expansion & Market Strategy Develop market entry strategies for international expansion, assessing regulatory landscapes, competitive positioning, and partnership opportunities. Drive cross-functional initiatives that support new business verticals, corporate strategy, and operational scaling.4. Fundraising & Financial Strategy Support fundraising and due diligence efforts by developing financial models, market sizing analyses, and valuation frameworks. Provide strategic insights and financial assessments to inform investment and partnership decisions.5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Act as a senior advisor to leadership, offering insights on market trends, industry shifts, and strategic growth opportunities. Influence and align cross-functional teams to execute key initiatives effectively.Key Qualifications & Skills:Strategic Leadership & Execution Excellence Ability to define vision and drive tactical execution.Partnership Development & Negotiation Strong expertise in structuring, negotiating, and closing high-value deals.Operational Efficiency & Process Scaling Experience in optimizing business processes and scaling global operations.Financial & Analytical Acumen Proficiency in financial modeling, investment analysis, and risk assessment.Stakeholder Influence & Cross-Functional Collaboration Ability to work with senior leadership, external partners, and internal teams.Preferred Experience: Strong track record of executing high-impact deals and managing complex financial services partnerships.
