Job description

Our client, a leading distributor, is seeking an accomplished Head of Strategic Alliances to lead and expand their Singapore partnership ecosystem. This is a critical leadership role focused on deepening relationships with vendors and accelerating go-to-market success.

Reporting to the Country MD, you will manage a team of up to 20, including 5 direct reports across business and product management functions. You’ll play a key role in driving vendor performance, increasing productivity, and expanding share of wallet across the vendor portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of up to 20, including 5 direct reports (business and product managers)
  • Own and execute the strategic partnerships roadmap across the Singapore portfolio
  • Strengthen vendor relationships to drive revenue growth, profitability, and joint GTM initiatives
  • Develop strategies to improve team productivity and maximize share of wallet with key vendors
  • Collaborate closely with vendor stakeholders to align on business plans, enablement, and sales acceleration
  • Build and nurture relationships with key resellers, MSPs, and system integrators across the channel
  • Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and strategic insights to senior leadership
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs to ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds business targets
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or channel management within the tech distribution space
  • Proven track record in leading sizable teams and driving vendor performance
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore IT channel market landscape
  • Demonstrated success in expanding vendor share of wallet and increasing sales productivity
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker with a strong hands-on execution mindset
