Job summary

Singapore Management University (SMU) seeks a seasoned IT leader to head the Office of Integrated Information Technology Services. You will direct a team of software developers, shaping strategies, roadmaps and designs for on-premise and cloud solutions while aligning with university objectives.

Your extensive experience in SAP, PeopleSoft and cloud platforms, coupled with strong leadership and stakeholder management, will drive secure, scalable architectures and high-quality enterprise digital

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in IT, CS or engineering.
Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in software development teams.
Strong background in cloud technologies and secure, scalable architectures.
Hands-on experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, Azure and Low/No-Code platforms.
Excellent leadership, communication and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of software developers/engineers across platforms.
Set goals, drive on-time and on-budget delivery of enterprise digital solutions.
Provide hands-on technical guidance and career development for team members.
Assist in strategic planning and budgeting to support business objectives.
Define and enforce development standards, security and usability across systems.
Collaborate with project managers, analysts and users to translate requirements into designs.
Manage outsourcing and vendor relationships, including contracts and KPIs.
