We are looking for a Head of Site Projects to join our team at Neste Singapore refinery.

As the Head of Site Projects Singapore, you will lead the Singapore site investment projects team and oversee project execution in the APAC region.

More about the job:

You will manage the on-site engineering office in Singapore, comprising 22 team members. This key role involves fostering cooperation, knowledge sharing, and standardized processes between the site and local contractors. Strong communication and leadership skills from an international organization are essential.

We seek a candidate with a proven track record in managing global investment projects in the oil and gas industry, with success measured by safety, quality, cost efficiency, and timely completion.

The Head of Site Projects Singapore reports to the VP of Site & External Projects (SEP) at the Investment Projects Execution and Governance (IPEG).

Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future:

• Participate in the local site management team
• Line managerial responsibilities for IPEG personnel in Singapore
• Establish the site organization for successful project execution

Responsibilities include:

• Developing processes, ways of working, and tools globally in collaboration with colleagues in Finland and the Netherlands
• Leading solution development and setting project targets (safety, quality, cost, schedule) for Neste Site investment projects in Singapore
• Promoting integration and cooperation between IPEG and Neste Renewable Products in Singapore across projects, work processes, administrative, and personnel issues

Keys to success in this role:

• 10+ years of investment and engineering resource management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Deep understanding of work processes in investment projects within the process industry
• Excellent leadership skills with cultural intelligence
• M.Sc. in a technical field
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus

Additional valued experience:

• 5+ years in the Oil and Gas industry
• Performance-driven and collaborative attitude
• Commitment to developing competencies and processes
