We are seeking an outstanding Teacher Librarian to lead and manage our Senior School Library as a vibrant centre for learning, literacy and research. Reporting to the Deputy Headteacher (Academic), you will provide strategic leadership for library services, resources, staff and budgets, while partnering with teachers and school leaders to support curriculum delivery and student achievement.
The successful candidate will champion a culture of reading, lead the development of information literacy and academic integrity programmes for students aged 11-18, and deliver engaging library and research skills lessons. You will also drive innovation through the effective use of technology, oversee the development of an inclusive and welcoming library environment, and contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.
We require a qualified and experienced Teacher Librarian with a passion for literacy, learning and student wellbeing. Someone who can bring strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills, has experience working with students aged 11-18, and a commitment to developing high-quality library services that inspire lifelong learning.
