We are looking for a visionary and execution-driven Head of SEA – Data Center Business to lead our growth strategy, operations, and market positioning across Southeast Asia. This role is responsible for the full P&L of the region's data center business, aligning global product strategy with local market execution, and steering high-impact partnerships with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise customers.
As a key member of the global data center leadership team, the role serves as the voice of SEA, championing market needs, driving localization, and accelerating business scalability through strategic initiatives and customer-centric innovation.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Develop and own the SEA regional business plan, including annual targets, country strategies, and long-term roadmap.
- Identify and prioritize key growth markets (e.g., Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore) based on market maturity, infrastructure investments, and digital demand.
- Lead expansion into new segments.
2. P&L Management & Regional Operations
- Full ownership of the business P&L, including revenue, margin, cost control, and investment planning.
- Drive operational excellence in sales execution, project delivery, and post-sales service across all SEA countries.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and align with HQ on financial targets and market forecasts.
3. Product Strategy & Localization
- Align SEA market insights with global product and solution teams to influence roadmap development.
- Oversee the adaptation and deployment of product portfolios (e.g., power systems, cooling, racks, modular data center solutions) tailored for regional compliance and customer preferences.
- Champion sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives in alignment with regional regulatory trends.
4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional team across the SEA region (sales, product, marketing, service).
- Establish strong relationships with key customers, partners, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
- Represent SEA in global leadership forums, ensuring the region’s voice is heard in corporate decision-making.
5. Ecosystem Development & Market Presence
- Cultivate strategic alliances with local system integrators, EPCs, government bodies, and industry associations.
- Strengthen brand presence through thought leadership, public speaking, and participation in regional data center forums and expos.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the data center, power electronics, ICT infrastructure, or mission-critical facility sectors.
- Proven track record in leading multi-country teams and scaling business across SEA.
- Strong understanding of the data center ecosystem: hyperscale, colocation, hybrid cloud, edge, and green infrastructure.
- Strategic thinker with excellent financial acumen and a hands-on leadership style.
- Fluent in English; regional languages a plus.
