Your Tasks

Role Purpose

  • Responsible for developing and implementing the Singapore country and channel strategy to achieve profitable business growth and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure that the country strategies align with shoppers marketing, brand strategies, and sales objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the shopper & customers marketing and sales departments to maximize brand communications and trade execution in-store.

Key Accountabilities

Sales

  • Work with the Sales Director to achieve mutually agreed objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with modern trade customers and distributors to promote brand awareness and profitability.
  • Drive sales team performance by executing 4P strategies in coordination with the marketing team to meet organizational goals.
  • Oversee sales support activities including administration, customer service, distribution, and invoicing to ensure timely processing of customer orders.
  • Manage trade expenses within budget.
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets, monitor sales, revenues, and costs, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Lead planning and review processes to ensure consistent monitoring and achievement of targets (e.g., Monthly Customer Day, Channel Profitability Review).
  • Negotiate sales agreements with key customers.
  • Manage trade stock freshness through FIFO and promotional activities.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.
  • Responsible for the overall country sales process, aiming to meet and exceed sales targets.

Sales Operations & Retail

  • Review monthly SFA productivity and efficiency with the Operations supervisor.
  • Oversee store execution and monthly targets for retail staff.
  • Review POSM execution with Operations and CDM monthly.
  • Manage trade stocks and promotional execution proactively.

Coaching and Team Development

  • Coach and develop team skills in KA management, JBP planning, and 4P execution.
  • Coordinate with multifunctional stakeholders to drive organizational growth.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business development or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in key account management or similar roles in multinational companies.
  • Minimum 5 years’ managerial experience.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, customer orientation, presentation, and results-driven skills; proficient in KA management and JBP planning.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong relationships with key retailers.
