Job description

Develop and direct the continuous achievement of the annual Orders, Sales (Revenues), and Gross Margin budget, and growth of Power System business.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan

Prepare and secure acceptance for the Power System Department’s plan to achieve the budget, and the plan to grow and ensure consistency of Power System’ leadership in the market. The plan shall also include working closely with our internal partners, suppliers, and our customers. The plan shall show market information and data to analyze the Department’s position in the market.

  • The plan shall show leadership in managing all sales resources to ensure highest success in achieving orders, and revenues.
  • The plan shall ensure increased mind share of our customers for Power System products in a professional, competitive, and excellent manner. This shall include expanding the department’s portfolios, and capabilities in the power business both locally and overseas.
  • Continuous improvement of Power System business through increasing value and reducing waste. This shall ensure that our services are all paid for by customers.
  • The Head of sales is to ensure financial excellence in terms of gross margins in the market. The orders, revenues, and gross margins shall not only meet the budget which should continuously improve year on year, but also ensure consistency in performance at all financial indicators such as cash flow which shall include the Accounts Receivables.
  • Work closely with the HOD of Power Systems to define and direct the technologies of Power System business and to propose for adequate investment to ensure market opportunity and competitiveness consistent with the defined overall strategy of the Group.
  • Identify the Department’s risks exposure and direct action to mitigate against identified risks.
  • Define and direct the sales organisation in the areas of management, operations, and training key staff.
  • To comply with ISO 9001 standards and ensure the sales team is totally committed to the Group’s quality philosophy. Support the Quality philosophy further by setting a personal example of high-performance standard. Ensure compliance to all financial guidelines for sales.

Any other duties assigned by the HOD of Power System, and Management Team.

Education / Professional Qualification

- Min Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.

Professional Experience

  • Min 10 years’ experience in the industry. Should be from an electrical consultancy, or generator company.
  • Must have experience in electrical consultancy, or power generator business.
